Phoebe, Around 9pm on Saturday
16”x24”
Handpainted collage on canvas
A new series of work called ‘7 Days’, depicting the days of the week, the struggles they bring and the strength that comes along to help us through.
Saturday’s child works hard for a living, and Phoebe is no exception.
She puts in tireless efforts and dedicates long hours to a job that offers an attractive salary. However, despite the financial rewards, Phoebe finds herself yearning for something more fulfilling.
As the weekend approaches, she can't help but feel a sense of exhaustion and the weight of her unfulfilled dreams. On Saturdays, Phoebe's mind starts to wander towards the anxiety that awaits her on Sundays, creating a vicious cycle of stress and restlessness.
However, amidst her struggles, with a bit of skepticism, she begins to notice the presence of angels in her life, offering a glimmer of hope. She becomes determined to find a better path that won't encroach on her weekends with big anxiety.
