This piece is very personal for me, as that is my childhood home from the age of 10 yrs old to 17 years old. There was no full photo that we could find of the bungalow we lived in until I was 10, so I incorporated the orange colour onto this home to sort of blend the two.
A series of work about the buildings that shape us. Each of these new pieces contain a home of someone else. Many of these are actual places where people have lived, or spent time. Others symbolize emotions tied to the concept of home, some are dream homes, and some represent personality traits inherited from one's upbringing.
